CrossFire'04

Watching this 8 min. clip of this show in class, brought the notion that this program was not for what it suppose to be and proved to be more of entertaining show. The guest and the show host were not straight forward in representing themselve. So, this question "why politician are not straight forward" will not function properly if it's not posed to the host of crossfire or any political format program. It gives a notion whatever is in interest of media and the life of host those particular question that hammer the nail on the heads of politician, depends on how much being invested on the show by other political groups.

what is LiberalMedia???

Reading this Article by Mr. Alterman, 

The question that arose in my mind reading the first page was what medium or type of media he uses to publish his articles whether that particular medium is liberal, conservative or moderate. 

He is confusing by using the term "myth" for liberal media but it would be better to say that responsible media is a myth.  Mr. Alterman defines myth as something not true but useful for confirmation. And his topic is myth for opposite ideoligies. Not only to opposite ideologies but sometimes it doesn't even prove to be useful for the liberal leaders like Bill Clinton. It may have some interest where it want to be liberal and other place want to use a double standard to prove it self a "perfect" media that shows an equality of coverage.

This term "liberal media" most of the time used by an elite club for their profits and their political puppets. That represents the level of curruption is used and due to that journalist, especially a honest journalist work is under question???

This Week's Bartleby

This week's Melville's piece Bartleby, the Scrivener. We went over different characters that were involved and their characteristics described by the author. I think in this week reading the characters in Bartleby, like Turkey and Nipper where one is not able to work the other takes his place. Basically both function as guard for each other. As Nipper has stomach problems and Turkey has different shades over the day. This part of Nipper and Turkey seemed as a fairy tale but the names with characterization would have been better described such as some hunter in life of "turkey" that's why he had color of red. But the other character Ginger Nut function as puppet for Turkey and Nippers by bringing ginger cakes for them. And Bartleby is hard character to define as he seemed to enormously good but his particular and common response of refusing the order of lawyer. Whether Melville who is lawyer trying to say that Bartleby deserves managerial position in the office where he can order others. Bartleby refusal illustratesan idea that he is the one by himself, a special case  in office which is slower. A strange character of Bartleby is demanding something before the life ends.
